- Type in your starting and stoping address in map quest. mapquest.com it'll tell you all your possible routes
- Options, cheapest to most expensive. 1) Subway: Take the Airtrain to Jamaica and get on the E train to Manhattan. At 5Av/53rd St, switch to the downtown V (same platform). Get off at Bryant park/42nd street and walk a few blocks to the hotel. Cost $5 airtrain + $2.25 subway ride (or if you buy an unlimited card it's included) 2) NY Airport Service bus http://www.nyairportservice.com/ - brings you to Grand Central or Port Authority (you're hotel is right in between). Walk to hotel. Cost: $15 OW, $27 RT. 3) Shared Van service: Blue shuttle etc.. cost varies, around $20 (but really takes longer than the bus, however you get door-to-door service). 4) Cab. Cost: Flat rate $45+tolls+tips Take your pick.
- The cheapest way will be by public transit. Here's how to get from JFK to address in question, which is located on 6th Avenue (Avenue of the Americas) between 38th and 39th Streets. Step 1: take the Airtrain from the terminal to Jamaica Station. Please listen for the announcement "Station D: Jamaica Station." Step 2: at Jamaica Station, purchase a $7.25 MetroCard from the MetroCard Vending Machine, and exit the Airtrain system into Jamaica Station. Five dollars will be deducted from the MetroCard, when exiting the Airtrain system. The remaining $2.25 will use for the subway. Step 3: Once thought turnstile (faregate), follow the direction signs to the New York City subway. Upon entering the subway, take the Manhattan-bound (westbound) "E" express train (Blue Line on the subway map) from Sutphin Blvd-JFK/Jamaica Station to Roosevelt Avenue-Jackson Heights. Step 4: at Roosevelt Avenue-Jackson Heights, transfer to the "F" train (Orange Line) which stops on the same express track as the "E" train (Blue Line). Take the Manhattan-bound (westbound) "F" train from Roosevelt Avenue to 42nd Street-Bryant Park. Step 5 at 42nd Street-Bryant Park, walk to the south end of the platform (40th Street exit) and exit the subway. Once at street level walk a block and a half south along 6th Avenue (Avenue of the Americas) from the 40th Street exit of the 42nd Street subway station to your hotel.
